Kemaruk - Sewing Dress

Hye there,

Here again! and now the holiday's heat is on... The 1st Semester Break is here...yeeehaaa.

Back to what it suppose to be, this blog was create to share my 'kemaruk' or shall I say it as passion towards sewing and crafting. I know, I know... I am a crawling creature in updating my blog. I think the sloth is faster than me. Sorry...

So, to welcome this Holidays Mood I present to you my dear blog... my "kemarukness" in sewing girl's dress...[I miss my baby so much....]

I made it from my preloved Paul Smith t-shirt bought at Cameron Highlands last year. Just wear is 2 to 3 times only. [psst, the size is not match with me:P]
Actually, I like the colorful lines, it is unique to me.

FYI, I am referring to this blog... the tutorial is great and easy to follow.
Tadaa, the refashion dress is ready:) It is a simple dress actually but the thing I like the most is the roses I made from the left-over fabric. See... can you spot it? Yeah, both can be spotted easily if i use contrast fabric. May be next time. So, I decided to sew an extra embellishment; pinky star button!


I made two roses, but I prefer the second one. It looks unstressed hehehhe.

How to make Simple Magnetic Craft for Teacher's Day

Salam and Hye...

Its been a while. Sorry but I hope this come back will be a good starts for Cut&Sew:)

Since the Teacher's Day is just around the corner and this year is my boy 1st year in school, I decided to introduce to him alternative way to please his teacher:)

Just a simple craft that you can produce with your child:)

You need:

from left to right:

• different colours of glittered foam [it is very nice]
• a pair of scissors to cut
• ladybug shape paper
• pine wooden stick
• paint marker [preferred colour]
• magnetic button
• hot glue gun with the glue stick

Step 1 - Write the special wishes to the teacher on the pine wooden stick. You can shadowed the phrases using black ink pen.

Step 2 - Pinned the ladybug shape at the back of black glittered foam.
Cut it according to shape. Do the same for the red glittered foam.
Paste the red and black glittered foam together using hot glue.
Paste the ladybug shape glittered foam to pine wooden stick.

Step 3 - Paste magnetic button at the back of the pine wooden stick.
Make sure the button are stable enough to hold the craft.
Your end product is ready!
[size : 18 cm x 8 cm]

You can make variety of shapes with different wishes. Look how cute the ladybug on my Teaching Time Table:)

Cute Bows in d Blog

Hye there:)

Just trying to make bows using fabric scrap... and you know, it is fun!

Just need small fabric from your stash, clips, ribbon and hot glue...simple eh.

I cut 3.5" x 7.5" fabric. Fold it on the 7.5" salvage. Both salvages.
then, fold the shorter salvage over one another. Clip it using...I'm using my crocodile clip:)
then tie it with ribbon. Apa pesen pun okeh... using your own imagination:)

Linen + PVC Pencil Case

Hye Monday(:

Manage to finish this long awaited pencil case. This pencil case is specially made for Sis Normah's daughter ; Nelly...
Made it using plain natural linen with purple PVC. Add some embellishment from buttons, brads and felt to the PVC.
Hope to match it with cute same design felt coin purse. Not able to finish the blanket stitch yet. Once I've finish it, will update both of the order. Tq Sis Normah, for willing to wait...
